Abstract: Collaborative learning is an emerging topic for electronic learning and pervasive learning, based on diverse technologies. This work proposes an informal learning-agent-based system called CoLeP to support p-learning. CoLeP overcomes the limitations of existing learning environments. Simulated results reveal that most high buddy selection rate results exhibit good learning performance. Students who are willing to spend fragment time slots on informal learning have superior learning outcomes. In sum, this work contributes to the research field that: facilitates knowledge-sharing in a pervasive environment; allows students to discuss and solve problems collaboratively; provides a lifelong learning platform.
