A new conceptual architecture to enable iPSS as a key for service-oriented manufacturing executive systems

Abstract: Service-oriented machining powered with industrial product service systems in workshop level is a quite new research topic. To clarify its real mechanism hidden, four phenomena of running the service-oriented machining are firstly analysed. And then a conceptual architecture to implement a service-oriented manufacturing system which uses the service-oriented machining is put forward. A simple case study shows the methods mentioned in the paper is feasible and reasonable.
