Recovery of mobile phones: capturing trends among students

Abstract: During the last few years, environmental concerns have been raised for the mobile phones industry, where one of the important issues is the devices' recovery. In this paper, an outline of the regulatory status in the European Union is presented and current recovery practices of mobile phones in Greece and, more specifically, among Greek students, are described. The results of a statistical survey are reported showing trends in respect to mobile phones recovery among this population.
