International Journal of Mobile Communications (IJMC), Vol. 8, No. 1, 2010

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to measure and prioritise the value of mobile phone usage using employees' perspectives. The Content analysis method and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) were adopted to collect and analyse data. According to the results, the value of mobile phone usage is categorised into four dimensions: economic, relational, knowledge and convenient value. The results show that convenient value is the most important factor in mobile phone usage. The findings could provide mobile phone service companies some references for understanding mobile phone usage.
