Continuing Engineering Education: its change with changing technological needs. A Korean case

Abstract: A Korean university-based continuing education program in industrial electronics is described, along with evidence of the need for such a program. The program is unique and versatile. The paper discusses strategies for the implementation of the program, the advantage of a Continuing Engineering Education program is that it may be sufficiently flexible for adjustment and updating of the course contents to meet the industrial need in accordance not only with re-orientation of the industry into new areas.
