Abstract: The University of Wisconsin pioneered the use of audiographic teleconferencing for Continuing Engineering Education. Modern audiographics systems provide a cost-effective, flexible and interactive platform for distance-education delivery. The university has capitalised on these advantages and uses audiographics to deliver a variety of courses in-house to large and small enterprises and to a network of public sites across the state. Student and faculty acceptance and student performance have been very good, and the use of the system is expanding.
