Revolution in European nuclear law

Abstract: Until now, there has been no European Community Law about nuclear safety. According to decisions of the European Court of Justice (ECJ), the community has the right to regulate this field, but the former policy neglected this. Now, a draft has been published that seems to revolutionise the standards of nuclear safety in Europe.
