International Journal of Collaborative Enterprise (IJCENT), Vol. 1, No. 2, 2009

Abstract: The complex task of product and service development is a major challenge for product and service providers since its inception. The current approach to development is primarily resource based planning and execution. Based on more than 20 years of applied experimentation, MCA Inc. has developed a fresh new approach to product and service development. The new approach is a planning and execution philosophy that is focused on learning and prioritising the learning. This approach has been applied to the development of various product and service attributes throughout different industry. In this paper, the author will explain the fundamental philosophical and technical differences between the two approaches and illustrate the advantages of the new approach.
