Abstract: A controller is designed to realise anti-synchronisation between a spatiotemporal chaos system and a temporal chaos system. The structure of the controller is given based on Lyapunov stability theory. A Gray-Scott spatiotemporal chaos system and a Duffing system are taken as examples to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Simulation results show that the anti-synchronisation between the two systems is realised when adding the designed controller. The method can be applied to any spatiotemporal chaos system and temporal chaos system in general use.
