Design and performance evaluation of a photovoltaic sun-tracking system driven by a three-freedom spherical motor

Abstract: In this study, a PV sun tracking system with the ability to move on two axes is designed. Its performance over a fixed tilted system is evaluated for the climatic condition of Denizli, Turkey. From the obtained results, it is seen that the sun tracking system improves the energy and exergy efficiency of the PV panel.
