Abstract: Research has been started by Hungarian regulatory modellers for the preparation of next generation dispersion models applied in EIA studies. This new generation will require advanced planetary boundary layer parameters in Gaussian plume models. The author investigated the validation of the meteorological pre-processor TRIP for Hungary.
