Abstract: The increased concept of accountability in education often requires schools to set high standards of achievement to create a foundation of teaching methods that work; and to create a system to measure results. As a result, many schools are striving to meet these new standards without fully understanding how to achieve accountability, align their curricula with government requirements and assess their performance. Most educators would agree that we are long due for a comprehensive approach to change our traditional ways we approach teaching. Quality management, on the other hand, has been implemented and used in various educational settings within a broader perspective. However, no model for practice has been developed yet on quality management integration in education. This paper aims to develop a quality management model of practice for classroom teaching. Specifically, the paper explores how quality management integration in education in our classrooms can help enhance student learning and student achievement.
