Abstract: Ultimately, it is hoped that, through globalisation, the world would experience more peace, quality of life would be improved, and people would become more like a part of a big family or at least as a friendly neighbour. This forum outlines answers to the question of how a person in the profession of environmental science and engineering contributes to this concept and effort.
