Abstract: INFOMIMET is a mega directory structured to facilitate the search and retrieval of important information sources for students, professionals, and all those interested in the mining, mineral and metallurgical sectors. Linked to the homepage of the Centre for Mineral Technology (CETEM, Brazil), INFOMIMET is the result of an exhaustive work of research, compilation, storage, analysis, selection and organisation of a wide range of data normally dispersed in print and in electronic formats. The main sources of information in the directory are: 797 proprietary and public domain databases with links to their host systems and direct links to over 12,000 websites from more than 110 countries, including Brazil.
