Abstract: In this paper a generalised two layer quantum dot model is proposed for image processing, in which two layers are coupled electrically. We found that the two layer quantum dot efficiently behaves for the application of image processing. One of the two given images is set to the input of the first layer and initial state of the second layer. The execution result is obtained from the output of the second layer. The original binary image is inputted to the first layer input and set as the initial state of the second layer.
