TQM, strategic management and business process re-engineering: the future challenge

Abstract: American industry was forced to realise that, in order to succeed in today's global market, they must produce high quality products. This paper addresses the importance of integrating TQM, strategic management and business process re-engineering. It also shows how US commitment to quality is paying off. Finally, the paper discusses the impact of quality on US industry both today and in the future.
