by Joseph P. Cory
International Journal of Technology Management (IJTM), Vol. 3, No. 5, 1988

Abstract: Unless governed by a strict adherence to regulation, most processes in the world of product development involve team participation by many disciplines or functions, with the aim of developing an enriched process or product. On the other hand, many of the operations would appear to be fixed in nature. However, with the introduction of technological innovation in the process or in a component of the product, the process becomes dynamic. Technology management has a vital role in re-ordering processes and the development cycle.
