Abstract: Most finance education professionals teach time value of money concepts regularly. While most of the advances in time value teaching focus on using a financial calculator to solve problems, little research focuses on new instructive techniques. This paper presents a fresh technique for teaching multiple-part time value of money problems. The Compounding Period and Payment Completion Table is presented as a complementary teaching aid to time line and financial calculator instruction.
