Abstract: Regional risk assessment aims at identifying risks at regional levels by taking into consideration a large number of technical systems and their potential negative impact on the population and environment. This paper introduces a virtual case study for the risk assessment of transportation of dangerous goods in Switzerland; it solves it by means of Decision Support Systems and Stakeholders interactions.
