International Journal of Industrial Electronics and Drives (IJIED), Vol. 1, No. 1, 2009

Abstract: The present work proposes the design of hysteretic regulators intended for applications with low-voltage and high-current loads. The objective of the control design is the optimisation of the load transient response, by means of the imposition of resistive closed-loop output impedance. The main contribution of the work is the extension of the control design of a single regulator to the multiphase regulator case. Selected simulation and experimental results are reported in order to validate both the regulator performance and the proposed control design procedure.
