The transfer of software copyright licences

International Journal of Liability and Scientific Enquiry (IJLSE), Vol. 2, No. 3, 2009

Abstract: Many countries have concluded agreements that a copyright can be transferred partly or totally through the copyright licence trade. There are potential problems with this, specifically whether the transfer of copyright infringes the licence and also whether the right of permissive use of software can be transferred as capital contribution and equity share. This paper will consider these areas and will also analyse how to deal with the right of permissive use of software in bankruptcy procedures.
