International Journal of Autonomous and Adaptive Communications Systems (IJAACS), Vol. 2, No. 2, 2009

Abstract: In this article, a framework that allows mobile users to build, deploy and distribute personalised mobile services is described. The core of the framework lies in the integration of static and dynamic content from various web sources, from system data and from the personal user preferences, and is combined to form mashups. These mashups will be customised appropriately so as to support the provision of mobile services in a time dependent, location aware, context driven and, finally, personalised manner. The framework has been implemented based on pocket PC user devices, and can be deployed over any internet protocol supporting network architecture. The evaluation of the proposed framework is being carried out with the aid of an open source context simulator.
