Basic directions of the energy policy of the Republic of Belarus: prospects for the future

Abstract: The major goal of the energy policy of the Republic of Belarus is to find ways and build mechanisms of balanced development and functioning of the fuel and energy complex (FEC), and to provide a reliable and effective energy supply for all branches of the economy and population that will ensure production of competitive products and achievement of living standards and quality of life of highly developed European countries while preserving an ecologically safe environment.
