Implementation of self-organising fuzzy control to a 3D electrohydraulic platform

Abstract: System parameters of a 3D electrohydraulic platform are time-variant and space dependent. In conventional fuzzy control, it is difficult to build up fuzzy rules to fit for three servo-actuators simultaneously. In this paper, self-organising fuzzy control is proposed to overcome these difficulties. Because of its capability of on-line modifying fuzzy rules, implementations as 3-axial vibrating system and space-tracking system indicate that self-organising fuzzy control is robust and has superior performance to optimal proportional-control.
