Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear boundary value problem for first order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type. New existence theorem of extremal solutions is established by new comparison principles and the monotone iterative technique. The result improves and extends the known relevant conclusion in the literature. Example is also provided to illustrate the advantage of our result.
