International Journal of Applied Systemic Studies (IJASS), Vol. 2, No. 1/2, 2008

Abstract: The profound change that took place in communication and information technologies, especially after the irruption and proliferation of the internet, to a great extent transformed the way organisations operate and opened up the opportunity of using new tools based on those technologies. In this paper, we present one example of how these can be used to facilitate the application of Beer's Organisational Cybernetics. We describe the main features of the software created for this purpose, which is named VSMod®, and how it can be used to support a VSM study.
