The political economy of growth and green politics in Ireland

Abstract: The current economic crisis arrived at the end of an extended period of accelerated growth in Ireland. The paper will examine the impact for the Irish Greens, including a discussion of the role of the 'Green Political Economy', in the aftermath of that party's rise to power as junior participants of the current coalition government in the republic.
