Abstract: The aim of this article is to consider the potential relationship between characteristics of entrepreneurs and competitive creativity, using the Spanish case as a reference. The article is based on various research projects carried out previously, the last of which was completed in 2007. The analysis takes as its point of reference, a number of surveys previously developed on entrepreneurship trends in Spain, but it pays particular attention to the study of innovative and creative activities, an aspect specifically included in the 2006 survey completed in 2007. The results in line with the objective pursued lead to some interesting conclusions on the subject, which has not yet been widely studied.
