International Journal of Microstructure and Materials Properties (IJMMP), Vol. 3, No. 4/5, 2008

Abstract: This paper presents the results of the investigations of mechanical properties and microstructures in the state of delivery and after 1000 h of ageing the Manaurite XM superalloy samples that are cut out from a catalytic centrifugal cast pipe. The ageing of catalytic pipes' material in the temperature range of 750°C to 900°C causes the precipitation of intermetallic phases in an alloyed austenite matrix. These changes affect the mechanical properties of the material of pipes.
