Abstract: With the rise of individualism, consumers increasingly expect their creativities can be applied onto the product that they purchase to make it distinctive However, the lack of professional knowledge and skills is found a major barrier. Enabling users to exercise their creativity becomes a major challenge for product designers. In this paper, a design process for facilitating users' successive design is introduced to help designers develop designs to achieve such goal. Two design cases were employed for feasibility verification of the process. Products developed through such procedure can enhance user's creativity while increasing values of the product commercially and emotionally.
