Abstract: In this paper, we present real-time simulation results using the ARMARKOV Adaptive Control (AAC) algorithm for active suspension control. The multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) control algorithm is used to obtain improved ride performance of a detailed multi-body vehicle dynamics model. The control algorithm includes on-line identification of a part of the vehicle dynamics. Real-time simulation is efficiently performed using dSPACE rapid control prototyping and simulation tools in conjunction with MATLAB/Simulink.
