Abstract: This paper discusses MobiGlam, a generic framework for interoperability with existing VLEs that provides a compact and easy to use implementation of learning activities on Java enabled mobile devices. The main objective of this work is to present a solution that encourages institutions to adopt mobile learning as a tool to support the learning process. The current deployment of MobiGlam at the University of Glamorgan has shown that the framework can easily accommodate additional learning activities and host various adaptation techniques to keep up with the evolving requirements of mobile technologies. Students' feedback is reported along with our observations on students' use of the system.
