The techno-economic assessment of biomass pyrolysis gasification system for central gas supply: a case study of Jinzhou

Abstract: The techno-economic assessment of biomass pyrolysis gasification system for central gas supply was conducted using cost and profit method. From the results, it can be seen that Net Present Value (at discount rate of 10%), profit/Cost, and Internal Return Rate of financial analysis in village level under the subsidy of government were 5.61 × 104 Yuan, 1.09 and 13%, respectively. And Net Present Value (at discount rate of 10%), Profit/Cost, Internal Return Rate of national economic analysis were 3.93 × 104 Yuan, 1.05% and 11%, respectively. Therefore, the project was feasible in the aspects of village finance and national economy.
