Abstract: This paper discusses the current trends and challenges in Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) business in India, especially in relation to technology-led service sector growth and its legal–economic challenges in the post-WTO era. These days, the main problem of LPO in India is one on data protection. The paper will focus this specific issue, and it also recommends a strong regulatory mechanism to govern the LPO business.
