Reengineering in upgrading of public administration: modelling and design

Abstract: The paper is devoted to the implementation of reengineering methods in the upgrading of a state public administration unit. Modelling and design procedures of a related information system are presented. They are done from the example of the design procedure of an information system for public administration at a regional level in the city of Bialystock in the North-East of Poland.
