European J. of International Management (EJIM), Vol. 1, No. 4, 2007

Abstract: This paper analyses the geographical origin of publications in the field of International Management in order to identify the relative influence of Europe. The analysis cover all the papers published in the most relevant journals of Europe – Management International Review, International Business Review, and International Marketing Review – and USA – Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, and Journal of International Management – from 2001 to 2005 – 1138 papers. The results show a large concentration of the most relevant investigations in the US milieu and a relationship between an author's nationality and the country where the journal is edited.
