Abstract: This research examines the relationship between Organisational Culture (OC) and Knowledge Management (KM) in the higher-education setting. The survey data was obtained from 185 academics in an Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) in Malaysia using a set of structured questionnaires. The factor analysis results confirmed that all the KM processes and OC factors were in conformity to the literature review. In addition, significant relationships were found between KM processes and OC. This paper has implications on IHLs in formulating strategies on how to properly manage their KM processes in relation to fostering optimum OC in order to warrant success in managing knowledge.
