International Journal of Business Excellence (IJBEX), Vol. 34, No. 4, 2024

Abstract: One of the major sources of economic growth is international trade. Recent work on testing this relationship and modelling with internal growth is of utmost importance, especially concerning Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries. To check the robustness of such a relationship, in the present research, the use of a simple linear regression test has been done between the variables of 'international trade' and 'economic growth' for the 'ASEAN' nations. The results for different ASEAN nations indicate the interrelationship between economic growth and international trade in these ASEAN nations. The policy area can be worked on for enhancement of export or import which ultimately would lead to the boosting up of the economy.
