International Journal of Web Based Communities (IJWBC), Vol. 3, No. 1, 2007

Abstract: This article deals with three perspectives on the sustainability of activities in Online Learning Communities (OLCs). On the bases of management, time and activity perspectives, sustainability is the main focus in constructing a method for understanding and increasing our knowledge about such processes. Since sustainability is not only viewed in the single process of keeping the activities ongoing, the method will expand the conception of sustainability in several processes related to the perspectives.
