Abstract: The use of technology has become commonplace and its use is only going to increase. In schools administrators, teachers, and students alike are asked to incorporate technology into their daily work, and even when it has been incorporated into many mainstream classrooms, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) student populations are rarely included in this innovation. The purpose of this paper is to discuss how theory supports the use of technology with all student populations, especially CLD ones. It also provides resources and ideas on how to use technology to support CLD students learning.
