Framework for e-mail records management in corporate environments

Abstract: The corporate accounting scandals have forced businesses to improve the management level of corporate e-mail records. To provide the management framework of e-mail records in corporate environments is the purpose of this paper. This paper investigates an industrial state of e-mail record management using questionnaires. Based on the literature reviews on security management and regulations, and according to the result of questionnaires, the purpose of the e-mail record management is provided. Finally, a management framework is suggested to improve the management of corporate e-mail records.
