Abstract: Assessing performability in terms of the quality and performance of e-Government websites in line with a country's vision, acts, and policies to promote competent e-services via the use of Internet and web technologies has received a shortfall of research, particularly in the Nigerian context. The current study assessed the performability of selected Nigeria e-Government websites using automated evaluation tools: Qualitdator, Website Grader, SEOptimer, GTMetrix, and Pingdom. Evidence of performability degradation was found to be associated with the metrics of search engine optimisation, usability, and performance of the evaluated e-Government websites. The evaluation fallouts were further simulated with prescriptive analytics to improve performability. Significantly, the anticipated recognition of the results, findings, and implementation of the prescriptive analytical recommendations will help understand the overall performability of e-Government websites towards achieving the primary vision of e-Governance sheltering the improvement of quality services with greater opportunity for participation in public administration, services and processes.
