Abstract: The product instruction manual provides content that can help consumers avoid misuse by clearly understanding how to use the product and using it correctly. In particular, the product instruction manual is related to the Product Liability Act. This study aimed to investigate consumers' preferences and satisfaction with the product instruction manual's information delivery method. Also, we analysed differences according to consumer preferences for the delivery method of product instruction manuals. Consumers prefer to receive product instruction manuals in writing, and the importance of product instruction manuals is even higher when they are married and have children. These results indicate that the consumers' preferred method is to provide the product instruction manual in writing to use it anytime.
