Abstract: Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional LEACH routing protocol in wireless sensor network (WSN) data transmission applications, such as high total energy consumption, low residual energy and short network life, a hierarchical routing algorithm based on energy balance is proposed. This algorithm is based on the energy consumption model of WSN communication, and adopts the non-uniform clustering algorithm to introduce the threshold. According to the relationship between the distance between cluster head node and sink node and the threshold, the implementation method of network communication is selected. In addition, a simple correlation multi-path route is designed to realise the multi hop communication between clusters. By considering the communication cost and the residual energy value of nodes, the hierarchical route with balanced energy consumption is realised. Experimental results show that the algorithm has obvious advantages in balancing network energy consumption and prolonging network lifetime.
