An enhanced constant length traceable CP-ABE in IoT paradigm

Abstract: Internet of things (IoT) is the paradigm shift for the 21st century due to its key benefits to the end users. IoT is an interconnected network of the resource constrained devices within the given range. Data generated from these devices need to be secured as well as protected from the prying eyes of an attacker. Thus, in research, the authors have proposed the attribute-based encryption (ABE) method having efficient multicast features as to successors. One of the important features is traceability where compromised keys can be traced back to the users and nullified. Indeed, Wang et al. projected the scheme of CP-ABE as having traceability feature and showcase it to be efficient as to earlier. However, in this paper we have observed that the scheme of Wang et al. failed to provide the proxy re-encryption feature. Thus, in this research, we have proposed the single authority CP-ABE scheme that has constant length ciphertext, traceability, as well as proxy re-encryption features.
