Abstract: Nowadays, the competitive environment demands a deep understanding of the internal conditions that allow the company to develop optimally. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between elements of the work climate and intrapreneurship. To achieve this, a questionnaire was applied to 603 employees in the northwestern border area of Mexico. For the validation of the instrument, the techniques of exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha were used. A measurement model and a structural equation model were constructed and evaluated by using the covariance method or CB-SEM. The results show that of all the elements of organisational climate analysed, only autonomy is presented with a high predictive level concerning intrapreneurial behaviour. In conclusion, these findings are relevant for the management of best practices in human talent and the design of strategies to promote elements of organisational development and the subjective wellbeing of workers.
