International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP), Vol. 24, No. 3/4, 2023

Abstract: Social networking sites (SNSs) have become an important live information source. The large personal information available over SNS attracts the attention of corporate, business and marketing people. So, these people misuse the personal information of the users through different ways. This process leads to critical user concerns over their privacy. This paper tries to identify the factors which influence the privacy disclosure on SNS through a questionnaire. The main focus of this paper is to examine the behaviour and privacy issues of the users on the SNS. It also attempts to analyse the survey results which illustrate interesting findings on the use of SNS and the awareness of personal data protection.
