Abstract: With the improvement of people's living standards and medical standards, the ageing of population structure has become a global social problem. The authors studied the influence of Taijiquan exercise on lower limb function of the elderly, and this paper provides a theoretical basis for preventing or delaying the decline of lower limb function of the elderly. The research method of sports biomechanics is used to analyse the gait data before and after Taijiquan practice in the elderly, and to explore the changes of the influence of Taijiquan on the kinematic parameters and kinetic parameters of the lower extremities, and reveal the physical fitness of Taijiquan for the elderly. Improve the role. Studies have shown that Tai Chi practice can significantly improve the lower limb muscle strength and proprioceptive function of the elderly.
