Abstract: With the rapid development of contemporary competitive sports, the athlete's physical ability is constantly improving, the competition rhythm is speeding up, the confrontation is becoming increasingly fierce, and the results are continuously refreshed. Athletes need to endure long-term training of high intensity, large amount of exercise and extreme load in order to achieve success in improving their performance. Thereafter, psychological fatigue will occur. It is a hot issue in sports. In order to analyse the definition, characteristics, causes, manifestations and recovery measures of sports mental fatigue, the limitations of influencing the recovery of sports mental fatigue under the current training system in China are pointed out through data fusion analysis. The results show that, different from the concept of psychological exhaustion prevalent in the field of sports psychology, psychological fatigue is a predictable phenomenon that accompanies athletes for a long time and is determined by many factors and develops gradually. Factors such as athletes' age and professional years have an impact on athletes' psychological fatigue. Sports state of mind is correlated with psychological fatigue and can effectively predict athletes' psychological fatigue.
