Abstract: This paper applies the strategy framework presented in Raupp and Schober (2000) to scrutinise the current operational form and future development of a travel industry network in Northern Finland. First, we studied how well the suggested theory corresponds to the operational dimensions of an actual cooperative network. We then utilised the theory to determine what types of strategies would best suit the firms in achieving their common future goals. Results show that the suggested framework is a useful tool in analysing different dimensions of strategic operations of actual networks.
